Return Policy

AMTEX Return Policy

As of March 21, 2020, unless the order is incorrect, defective or damaged in transit all sales are final. Orders that are correctly delivered by AMTEX are not eligible for credit, exchange, or refund. Signed claims for incorrect orders, defective items, or damaged in transit must be completed within 3 business days of receipt of the shipment, with conditions of the items noted.

Please call us at (800)650-3360 for assistance with incorrect orders, defective items or damaged in transit. Thank you for your understanding and compliance.


Give your package including the RMA to the AGS driver. Please retain the RMA Customer Copy from the AGS driver for future reference. AGS drivers are not authorized to pickup any items other than the items listed in the RMA. Please note we may assess freight charges and restocking fees in order to return the goods.


For orders shipped by FedEx or other carriers, AMTEX Customer Service will send you the return labels along with the RMA acknowledgment. Please reseal your unused merchandise in the box and place the new label over the original shipping label. Please also mark the RMA # on the Box. Please retain your FedEx tracking information from your return label. Please note we may assess freight charges and restocking fees to return the goods.

Cancellation Fees

Cancellation fees may apply on custom or non-stock orders.

Custom Orders

Customized orders including fabricated, special order and custom made-to-order factory direct items are may not be returned.

Factory Direct Orders

Damaged or shorted factory direct items must be reported to AMTEX within 2 business days. Custom made-to-order factory direct items are non-returnable.  Refused or canceled orders are subject to restocking fees and return freight charges.

Warranty Items

Warranty items may not be returned.

Items Shipped Outside the Continental U.S.

Items shipped outside the continental U.S. are may not be returned. AMTEX is not responsible for items damaged or not accounted for by your freight forwarder. If there is a mis-pick, for example, AMTEX will make an exchange to your freight forwarder location only. 

Special Orders

Non-stock items and custom items may not be returned.

Hazardous Materials Returns

Due to federal safety restrictions, Hazardous Material items may not be returned.

Damaged Items

If your package arrived damaged in transit, please note the damage on the shipping documents next to your signature at the time of delivery. If your package has concealed damage, please call 800-650-3360 within 2 business days of receipt.  Please note, some items carry a manufacturer’s warranty and require that you contact the manufacturer directly.

Shortages and Fulfillment Errors

If you believe that you have not received the correct quantity or correct product, please call 800-650-3360. We will advise you on how to proceed.
